A fixed length of the profile is used for the casing and sealing of the door frame.
By choosing a product with a corresponding bending radius, the fixed length closely cases the corners. Both ends are either pushed close or sometimes glued together.

Triple tube with holes punched into the twin tubes used as sealing for the door opening. The holes allow the air to exit. Thus the tubes hermetically seal the door gap and protect the interior of the car from water, dirt and noise.
